The company, incorporated in June 1922, is a Spanish private entity that produces and sells canned fish. Based in Mundaka, Spain, it is the result of the foresight and tenacity of a family with close ties to the sea. Strategically distributed around the country, close to the main fishing ports and equipped with the most advanced technology in terms of both processing and canning, the company's industrial plants make it one of the leading canned fish producers. Brands include Isabel and Garavilla. The company owns four plants located in: Mundaka (Vizcaya), which processes Atlantic tuna and other varieties; EL Grove (Pontevedra), a plant where specialities such as mussels, cockles, cephalopods and sardines are processed as well as tuna; Agadir (Morocco); which produces sardines and southern mackerel products; and Manta (Ecuador); which processes tuna. Factories of the company are EFSIS and ISO 9002 certified. The company has a modern fishing fleet which consists of 5 tuna fishing boats.
